I am Taryn  Licensed Massage Therapist, owner of Attentive Massage Therapy in Columbus, Ohio.

I specialize in computer-related neck, upper back, and shoulder discomfort. Many of my clients work long hours at the computer and experience neck pain, stiffness, headaches, and nerve conditions in the arms and hands. I carefully work to restore comfort and optimal range of motion to these areas. I believe the body wants to return to a state of health -- sometimes it just needs a little push in the right direction!

In 2013, I graduated from Cincinnati School Of Medical Massage, Shortly after, I relocated to Columbus. I started a family and began working for a local franchise owned massage clinic. While I deeply value my time with the company, I became jaded with the companies policies towards its therapists and clientele, which set me in search of another path.  In the end, it turned out to be a gift, I began to invest in myself, and opened a small business to ensure that I could give my clients a space to receive quality care as well as giving myself the ability to flourish.  Prior to graduating I was in a massive car accident that destroyed my low back and pelvis, I was in constant discomfort, sitting/standing for to long was taxing on my ability to be as functional as I would have liked to have been. I discovered manual therapies were incredibly more effective that the prescribed medications given to alleviate the pain I was having, little did I know that the search for help would lead me to be the person providing relief . Many of my hard-working clients experience the same discomfort on a daily basis and it is

my mission to provide them relief.
